Grab a bite to eat or settle in for a drink in our atmospheric mill café in the centre of Helmshore. There’s plenty to choose from, including steaming soup, delicious sandwiches and freshly baked cakes. Hot and cold drinks are readily available, too.

If the history of Higher Mill has taken your fancy, we have lots of books where you can expand your knowledge further. Pick up a postcard to send to a loved one, or enjoy a treat if you want something more fun. All items sold in the shop go to preserving the mill for future generations.

As Higher Mill is a heritage building, we’re limited in the adaptations we can make for our visitors, so please read carefully before you plan your trip.
